Contender for the 65th Miss Universe expo are beginning to land in the nation. On Saturday, January 7, Miss US Virgin Islands Carolyn Carter was the first to arrive in Manila. She was met by a great deal of travelers at the air terminal.

"Mabuhay Pilipinas! I'm so glad to be brought together with the Philippines for the third time, it feels like I'm getting back home, and may I say, I am very grateful the majority of my gear has arrived!" she composed on Instagram.
Pia Wurtzbach turned somewhat passionate amid a Facebook Live session as she thought about what she will miss once she passes on her crown to the following Miss Universe.
With just three weeks before the show, Wurtzbach said she will miss working with her supervisor, Esther Swan, and Miss Universe Organization officials Paula Shugart and Shawn McClain, among others.
"Will miss Esther messaging me my schedule each day, and our voyages, our long talks in the plane, our nourishment trips," she said as her voice splits.
"I will miss setting off to the workplace, answering to you (Swan) when you're getting distraught in the event that I am not doing my cost report or when I neglect to put my telephone on uproarious (mode) or I neglect to charge it and you have to reach me," she included.
On Shugart, Wurtzbach said regardless she really wanted to be extremely tidy and appropriate each time the official is around despite the fact that they have been working with each other for over a year as of now.
"However, she knows me. She realizes that I'm truly silly and that I'm not by any stretch of the imagination like that. I will miss her recommendation when she takes a seat, converses with me and she gives me life lessons," she shared.
"Everyone in the Miss Universe Organization assumed a major part in making my rule vital," Wurtzbach said.
"I'm truly happy that I got the chance to work with everyone. I'm truly appreciative and I trust I didn't give you folks a lot of a migraine," she included.
Despite the fact that her rule will authoritatively finish up before the month's over, Wurtzbach said she will in any case work with the Miss Universe Organization nearly since some of her agreements go past January.
"I am extremely fortunate that regardless I have a considerable measure of work arranged after Miss Universe. Truth be told, my February is reserved. That is great. The work proceeds on. I'm returning here in New York. I am retreating to the workplace and [submit] my resume," she said jokingly.

Wurtzbach will crown her successor at the Miss Universe royal celebration night which will occur at the Mall of Asia Arena on January 30.
